|A fascinating walk full of pagodas to climb, overhangs and gullies to investigate and all within a short distance of Newnes. Lots of possibilities for exploring so a sense of adventure is a requisite! I've graded this walk a 5 due to the off-track nature and because of the rock scrambling. Rock scrambling/off-track walking.

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Joint leader, Sheila Walker. The Great North Walk is a 250 km walk from Sydney to Newcastle along bush tracks. The Sydney to Wondabyne walks were completed in 2019. This section is from the Wondabyne Station to the Old Moony Mooney Bridge. There will be a car shuttle between Hawkesbury River Station and the Old Mooney Mooney Bridge (45 mins return), and participants must come in a car with no more than the driver and 1 passenger. The walk will start at Wondabyne Station after a train ride from Hawkesbury River Station. Rough track, rocks, steep and slippery sections, creek crossings

Part of the Great South Coast Walk (http://greatsouthcoastwalk.net/) a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660km in total. |(NEW!!!) From Station follow roads to Florabella Pass. Descend to cross Glenbrook Creek and ascend the Bullant Track. Meet the St Helena Fire Trail and visit the Lost World and Bunyan Lookouts. Descend the Kings Link Track crossing Glenbrook Creek again. Ascend to Springwood visiting Perch Ponds, Martins and Magdala Falls along the way. Relaxed pace. Cliff edges, creek crossings, loose rocks and slippery conditions.

|(Fully Booked) Joint leader, Sheila Walker (firstname.lastname@example.org). The Great North Walk is a 250 km walk from Sydney to Newcastle along bush tracks. The Sydney to Wondabyne walks were completed in 2019. Section 1 from Wondabyne is on 2 May 2021. Sections 2 to 8 will be continuous day walks from Saturday, 08 May to Friday, 14 May 2021 staying overnight en-route; at farm stay for 2 to 4 nights, possibly staying at a cabin site for 2 nights, in a pub/hotel for 2 nights and at a caravan park for 1 night. To start the walk, all walkers will assemble at Misty Mountain Farm Stay site by nightfall on Friday, 07 May for an early start on Saturday, 08 May. Car shuffles will be required for all sections and participants will need to come in a car with no more than 1 other participant. Daily walks range from 11 km to 20 km and the walk rating are 3 and 4. Rough track, steep, rough, rocky and slippery sections, creek crossings, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

|Between Ball Bone Point and Baal Bone Gap is a ridge full of fantastic rock formations many of which resemble animals, a boot and well anything your imagination can conjure up! On this walk I intend to photograph and seek out as many of these formations as possible in a leisurely pace. However there might be some tape work involved so be prepared for off-track walking as we explore this marvellous area. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

|(NEW!!!) Follow a gradual descent from Stanwell Park Station. Ascend a steep track to Bald Hill, Stanwell Tops. Follow Coast Track to Burning Palms then ascend the Burgh Track to meet Bolo Ridge. Follow ridge sometimes on a faint track to meet Lady Carrington Drive. Follow Forest Island, Couranda and Uloola Tracks to Waterfall Station. Creek crossings, slippery with loose rocky sections.

Its distinctive design by Anton James sets it apart from the traditional botanical garden. |22 May, Sat||Witches Watch, Hecates Cauldron and Tara Point|
|(NEW!!!) Park the vehicles at around GR 306 175 on the branch road off the Bicentennial National Trail. Follow the Great Dividing Range north to Gordian Knot and then to Witches Watch, a spectacular lookout above Hecates Cauldron. From here, descend into the Cauldron and explore it underneath the cliff lines and also above, amidst “the bubbles”. Visit the Tower of Hope and other attractions. Descend into the headwaters of Baal Bone Creek, cross the valley and climb up through Tara Slot onto Tara Point. More amazing views. From here, move up to the ridge and re-connect with the vehicles. Scrambling and exposure.
