There are a couple of short deep pools, so bring your dry bags and also, if you wish, some change. Park at GR 511 862 on Bells Line of Road and make our way down into Dalpura Creek. Follow it through the canyon section. Climb out to the north-west and visit the Jinki Ridge, then descend back and climb out to the south-east and walk to Dalpura Head. Make our way back to the cars. Some exposure and scrambling.

We follow  the coastline south from Greenhills beach, Wanda Surf Lifesaving Club to Bass and Flinders Point, where the Hacking River meets the Tasman Sea. The pathway passes stunning beaches, rock pools, parks, playgrounds, cafes and period houses interspersed with lavish new homes and apartments overlooking the water. watch nippers and lifesavers train and enjoy a dip at one of the many beaches along the walk. Optional lunch at the RSL. The footsteps on this walk have echoed since the early 1900s when Cronulla Beach was the place for Sydneysiders to holiday, and it remains a popular and social walk. Walking from Otford to Bundeena via Burning Palms Beach, Garie Beach, Eagle Rock, Curracurrang, Wattamolla. Some exposed sections, the track is fairly tough, following the coast up and over many headlands, some of which are a steep climb. Carry plenty of water, snacks, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Walk is planned to finish at Bundeena at approx. 4:30pm, in time for the 5pm ferry from Bundeena to Cronulla. Please bring some small change and Senior’s Card, where applicable, for the 'private' ferry (they don't accept Opal Card).

Part of the Great South Coast Walk, a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660 km in total. Today we walk from Bundeena to Wattamolla. Always wanted to do the Coast Track but 28 km and 900 m elevation in one day is not your cup of tea? This is your chance to do it in 3 sections with public transport option. Take train and ferry to Bundeena Wharf. Walk to Wattamolla. Then onto Ikara Head for great views of the Gross River valley. We will be meeting at Mt Victoria Station and proceed by car to the track head. Numbers attending will be limited by the number of people offering to drive people from the station. When booking please include your phone number, emergency contact number your member number and whether you are coming by train or driving. Drivers should indicate how many passengers they can take from the station. Passengers should recompense their driver as per NPA policy. Booking essential. Some trip hazards.

The straight boundary line, drawn by politicians, makes no sense when it comes to natural beauty. See it for yourself! Park the vehicles at the locked gate at the end of Waratah Ridge Road. Walk into and down the Hair of the Dog Ravine at GR 493 038. After exiting the ravine, make our way west to Cerberus Creek and its canyon. Go through the canyon, visiting Cerberus Falls and exit at about GR 472 038. Walk on the road back to the cars.
