Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longCambewarra Range Nature Reserve is on the top of Mt Cambewarra. A rough fire trail leads out to a trig point overlooking Kangaroo Valley. On the return, a side track leads out to Brown Mountain with lookout over the coast. Aboriginal rubbings are seen on both tracks. Rough track, unfenced cliff edges. Slippery after rain.

We walk the length of the Great Walk on the Fraser Island at a leisurely pace taking 8 days. We will have two food drops on the way and so the packs will not be too heavy. A lovely walk with a variety of vegetation and scenery, beautiful lakes, and spectacular sand dunes. The tall trees in the Valley of the Giants are a must to see! Spaces strictly limited because of transport requirements along the beaches of Fraser Island. Limit: 13. View

This is one of my favourite walks for views and blooms in the beautiful Brisbane Waters National Park. From Little Wobby Beach we walk via a system of tracks and fire trails down to the scenic Patonga. If lucky we may see some early flowering waratahs, sea eagles flying past and definitely a wealth of wildflowers.

The 100km trail features the well-known Great North Walk and the Harbour to Hawkesbury Walking Track in the beautiful bushland of northern Sydney. Section 5 starts from St Ives Showground. Section 6 starts from Frenches Forest Showground. We finish at Davidson Park. We must walk a moderately fast pace to finish this walk in daylight hours. Bring snacks and drinks. Steep and slippery sections.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(DRAFT - do not publish yet) This walk starts at a small isolated train station, and takes in some great scenery on the way to Woy Woy station. The walk gets most of the climbing out of the way quickly. Once up on the main ridge there are great views along the Hawkesbury River and Mooney Mooney Creek. Highlights of the walk include Kariong Brook Falls and Mt Wondabyne, the highest point in the area. We will catch a taxi from Woy Woy landfill to Woy Woy Station to avoid 4 km of boring road walk.

A wonderful day walk on our doorstep of Sydney with the promise of a swim in the beautiful pool in Erskine Creek. I want to check out Dadder Cave so the walk will only be on trails until the bottom of the Pisgah Rock Track then boulder hopping up the creek. Rock hopping along the creek and rock scrambling up Mnkey Ropes Creek.

Fantastic boulder ridges, alpine frost hollows and bountiful swamps are just a few worth seeing on its expansive system of tracks. This is a car based camp, costing $10 a person per night at the comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campsite, only a short drive from the nations capitol. I expect to also visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve during our stay as lots of wildlife worth spotting within its confines. Optional rock scrambling.

Walk out next day to Berowra station (5.5km) . Slippery sections
