Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. (Updated Details) A beautiful canyon. We’ll enter via Corkscrew Canyon in order to get into our canyon without abseiling. Plenty of rock hopping and scrambling and some narrow ledges to negotiate. Several wades and/or short swims. An interesting exit with a couple of scrambles - rope may be used. Some exposure at the exit and in the canyon. Bring your helmets and dry bags. (Cancelled) The Namadgi National Park has some wonderful granite formations, frost hollow plains, indigenous art galleries and great walking tracks and from the very comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campground we will explore as much as possible during these 4 days. The campsite has a decent sized shelter, electric bbqs, water and tables.

This is the third year we are doing this beautiful walk to celebrate Australia Day and Lydia Chua's 41st Anniversary of her arrival in Australia. Meet outside circular Quay Wharf 2. We walk across the bridge and along the coastline to Balmoral. Enjoy spectacular views and Aerial Display. Ample swimming opportunities. Walk as much or as little as you wish.
