|Park cars near as possible to top of Kedumba Valley Road. Walk down Kedumba Valley Road. Follow Sublime Point Trail towards Katoomba. Ascend Giant Stairway and make way to Katoomba Station. Drivers taken back to their cars. Steep fire trail sections with loose surface are to be encountered. Also there are some creek crossings involved.

|The Goulburn River is a delight to walk along with its grassy banks, colourful cliff lines and a good campsite at Spring Gully to welcome the weary walker! Also the bird and mammal life is quite diverse with many species worth searching out. This is quite an easy backpack suitable for someone new to overnight camping. A bit of off-track from the river to White Box Camp.

|3-5 Nov, Sat-Mon||Middle Hill and Blackwater Creek|
|Day 1. Drive to Mount Coricudgy. With water for the day, walk to Middle Hill and set camp at around GR 541 694. Explore the nearby area that shows a couple of interesting slots. About 10km. Day 2. Find a way down into the creek to the north, explore a possible volcanic ‘neck’ on the way, then descend into Blackwater Creek. Take water, climb a ridge to the west and walk back to the camp. About 10km. Day 3. Find a way down into the creek to the south and follow it to Blackwater Creek, exploring a number slots along the way. Walk up Blackwater Creek and find an exit at around GR 545 658. Walk the ridge and then the trail back to the cars. About 12km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|From NPWS Pretty Beach car park, ascend Durras Mountain on forest tracks. Descend to coast via the east trail and return via coast. Some rock–hopping. One of the best walks in the region! Note early start to beat the heat and leave time for leisurely lunch, swim/snorkel at Snake Bay.

These dates for those who have not been on the trip before or it’s a long time since you’ve been - the usual series of walks. It’s the 21st anniversary trip to the western slopes of the Snowy Mts and northern Kosciuszko NP. Camp or cabin at caravan park. Day walks and exploring the region while learning about Snowy Hydro Scheme, Hume and Hovell and the impact of wild horses. Own transport or find a buddy. Will be some dirt road driving to walks. This walk passes by Cape Solander Lookout and Whale Observation Platform, Cape Bailey Lighthouse, Boat Harbour Beach and Rock Platform, Wanda and Elourea Beaches, finishing at Cronulla Beach. Opportunity for a swim. Coffee at the end of the walk. Bring morning/afternoon tea and picnic lunch.

|Mt Jellore is an outstanding landmark in the Southern Highlands. The walk follows a fire trail through private property to Mt Jellore. The final 150 metres are very steep and give access to a trig point. A little further on there are spectacular views. Return by the same route. Very steep and rough track, unfenced lookout.

|(Nearly fully booked) Paddling the full length (200km) of the Edwards River. The Edwards is an annabranch of the Murray starting at Picnic Point and rejoining the Murray 60km downstream of Swan Hill. Camping out of the kayaks/canoes. The pace is easy but paddlers need to be able to pack and camp out of their kayaks for up to 5 days and there will be number of weirs to portage and snags in the river. PFDs compulsory.
