|26-31 Dec, Tue-Sun||Kahane Lodge Base|
|Using the comfortably appointed Kahane Lodge in Perisher as a base, we will explore a series of walks. There will be more than one leader to take people out into this stunning national park so expect a lot of variety on what's offering! There is still places available but the lodge is filling up fast so if you are interested, book in asap. The walks are a combination of on-tracks and off- and will require in places some rock hopping and rock scrambling and the grades will vary from grade 3 to 4.

|26 Jan, Fri 8:30AM||Circular Quay to Balmoral|
|Join us for an Australia Day Celebration Walk to soak up the atmosphere of this great day. We shall walk across the Harbour Bridge, then from Kiribilli to Balmoral. Walk as much or as little as you wish. In 2017, a few people walked all the way to the Spit. Swimming opportunities. Several small climbs. Jointly led by James and Esther. No need to contact but email RSVP is appreciated. Come to Circular Quay a bit earlier to get some freebies: eg flag, sausage sizzle, coffee. No guarantee though. Last year was offered. View|
|30 Jan, Tue 10:02AM||Taronga Zoo – Balmoral|
|(Jean’s Group) Carol G.|
|Walk one of the iconic trails in Sydney. Leave Taronga Zoo and walk through bush with the harbour a constant companion. Time to meet some of the many water dragons who call this part of the city home. A steep climb (taken slowly) up to Bradleys Head for lunch, then after lunch down the steps to Balmoral. Then 3 choices: 1) Bus to Taronga Zoo, ferry to Circular Quay. 2) Bus to city. 3) Join leader on bus to Manly, ferry ride back to city. Best Walk: Sydney Harbour View|
|13 Feb, Tue 9:18AM||Spit – Manly|

|24 Feb, Sat 8:39AM||Catherine Hill Bay – Red Ochre Beach|
|Why is this one of my favourite coastal walks? Because of the diversity of the landscape and the possibility of several spots to swim, surf or snorkel along the way! Wonderful rock platforms to explore and the colourful coastal tall heathland to enjoy. More than enough reason to join me! Rock hopping.

We will start at Wog Wog and visit along our journey such wonderful landmarks as Corang Arch, Mounts Bibbenluke, Tarn, Haughton, Sturgiss and Quiltys to name a few, and wander in ancient forests and along beautiful creeks and rivers.
