On this trip, I will take you to a few of the wilder locations within the park that aren't often visited as well as plenty of the fantastic regular walks which make this park justifiably famous. With hot showers and good amenities isn't it time you experienced the wonderful Warrumbungles! Interested people can come for 4/5 or 6 days. Some off-track walking. Limit: 20. View

Coffee at Oatley, train return from Oatley. Option: A fairly level Grade 1 walk of around 5km avoiding steep decline and incline into Oatley Pleasure Grounds by walking directly from Como Bridge to the park opposite Oatley Station for lunch - no leader between Como Bridge and Oatley Station (follows one sealed path through reserve parallel with busy street). From Darcy Dunster Reserve on shore of Macquarie Rivulet (turn L off Princes Hwy into Illawarra Hwy, then first R) we circumnavigate Lake Illawarra, mainly on off-road cycleways. Several short on-road sections have wide shoulders. Lunch at Windang, with a diversion to lake entrance.

On day 4 two coastal walks in the Wyrrabalong National Park – total distance 15km. Grade 2. All cycles are on bitumen cycle paths suitable for road bikes, hybrid or mountain bikes. There will be occasional road riding, mostly on quiet streets. Accommodation will be at the Budgewoi Holiday Park. Own transport required as we will need to drive to activities. Visit a number of secluded beaches on the northern headland of Jervis Bay. Walk from Honeymoon Bay to Target Beach (on track). Stay here for swim/picnic or visit the wreck of the St Martin de Porres at the base of Longnose Point. Optional off-track/rock hopping on to Little Target Beach and possibly beyond to Boat Harbour. Plenty of time for any number of swims if the weather is right. Grade 3: Easy/medium with optional Grade 4: Medium/hard extension.
