|(Fully Booked) Joint leader, Sheila Walker. The Great North Walk is a 250 km walk from Sydney to Newcastle along bush tracks. The Sydney to Wondabyne walks were completed in 2019. This section is from the Wondabyne Station to the Old Moony Mooney Bridge. There will be a car shuttle between Hawkesbury River Station and the Old Mooney Mooney Bridge (45 mins return), and participants must come in a car with no more than the driver and 1 passenger. The walk will start at Wondabyne Station after a train ride from Hawkesbury River Station.

Hazards: Steep, rough, uneven ground, overgrown tracks, tree fall, often off track. Illawarra Highway is crossed a number of times.

|From Station follow roads to Florabella Pass. Descend to cross Glenbrook Creek and ascend the Bullant Track. Meet the St Helena Fire Trail and visit the Lost World and Bunyan Lookouts. Descend the Kings Link Track crossing Glenbrook Creek again. Ascend to Springwood visiting Perch Ponds, Martins and Magdala Falls along the way. Relaxed pace. Cliff edges, creek crossings, loose rocks and slippery conditions.

|(Fully Booked) Joint leader, Sheila Walker (firstname.lastname@example.org). The Great North Walk is a 250 km walk from Sydney to Newcastle along bush tracks. The Sydney to Wondabyne walks were completed in 2019. Section 1 from Wondabyne is on 2 May 2021. Sections 2 to 8 will be continuous day walks from Saturday, 08 May to Friday, 14 May 2021 staying overnight en-route; at farm stay for 2 to 4 nights, possibly staying at a cabin site for 2 nights, in a pub/hotel for 2 nights and at a caravan park for 1 night. To start the walk, all walkers will assemble at Misty Mountain Farm Stay site by nightfall on Friday, 07 May for an early start on Saturday, 08 May. Car shuffles will be required for all sections and participants will need to come in a car with no more than 1 other participant. Daily walks range from 11 km to 20 km and the walk rating are 3 and 4. Rough track, steep, rough, rocky and slippery sections, creek crossings, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

|Between Ball Bone Point and Baal Bone Gap is a ridge full of fantastic rock formations many of which resemble animals, a boot and well anything your imagination can conjure up! On this walk I intend to photograph and seek out as many of these formations as possible in a leisurely pace. However there might be some tape work involved so be prepared for off-track walking as we explore this marvellous area. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Today we walk from Wattamolla to Garie Beach. Always wanted to do the Coast Track but 28 km and 900 m elevation in one day is not your cup of tea? This is your chance to do it in 3 sections with public transport option. Catch the 8am shuttle from Sutherland Station to Wattamolla, arriving 9:15 am. Walk to Garie Beach and catch the shuttle at 2:00 pm back to Sutherland. Day fare is $18. Ask leader for payment details for group booking.

|Follow a gradual descent from Stanwell Park Station. Ascend a steep track to Bald Hill, Stanwell Tops. Follow Coast Track to Burning Palms then ascend the Burgh Track to meet Bolo Ridge. Follow ridge sometimes on a faint track to meet Lady Carrington Drive. Follow Forest Island, Couranda and Uloola Tracks to Waterfall Station. Creek crossings, slippery with loose rocky sections.

|Leader will be Brad Sichter. Today we will walk from Thornleigh to Hornsby. Starting at Thornleigh Station with a little local history, we will head west along the Great North Walk before diverting through Westleigh and then returning to the bush again on our way to Lisgar Gardens. Lisgar Gardens is a wonderful, secret garden hidden in the back streets of Hornsby. Spread across 6 acres, the garden packs a lot in with a little bit of something for everyone. Lisgar Gardens are famous for their Camellias. There are around ninety varieties in the garden. Some steep and slippery sections, steep staircases and elevation changes. steep staircase
