Grade: Easy/Medium. This walk takes you to several secluded beaches on the northern headland of Jervis Bay which is used by the Australian Navy. From Honeymoon Bay we will follow the track to Target Beach and then walk to the far end of the beach. On our return journey we will visit the viewing platform above Longnose Point. We then descend to the rocks below to see the wreck of the St Martin De Porres and return to Honeymoon Bay. Please bring morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea. Limit: 15. View |

This is a very beautiful walk that descends quickly to Cowan Creek, where we see some remains from past residents as we meander around the bays. Then we have a quick rise to follow a ridge to Mt Kuring-gai from where we catch the train home. This is a new walk to us that starts from the end of Murrua Road, North Turramurra and follows the Murrua Trail along a ridge before descending to the Rainforest Track at Bobbin Head. We then follow the Gibberagong Track back along the Cockle Creek to the steep Murrua Track back to the start. (Fully Booked) This is a medium (grade 3) walk along Bargo River via Potholes Track to Diesel Pass and onto See Thru Falls then Mermaids Pool for morning tea.
We will then follow the Matilda Track to a series of lookouts. At the third lookout, we will split into 2 groups. The optional harder (grade 4) walk will continue on and down Rosies Pass into and along Tahmoor Gorge and lunch in the gorge then return via Jacks Pass. The easier (grade 3) walk will back track to one of the lookouts for lunch. Rough track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks & creek crossings.
