![]() (NEW!!!) Walk 1: A Rainforest Ravine off Mount Wilson Rd
Park some cars at GR 552 884 and drive others to GR 542 868 on Mount Wilson Road. Descend into a gully to the south east and follow it all the way down to Bowens Creek North at GR 557 872, then turn upstream and walk to the parked cars. About 4 km. Exploratory for the leader. Wet feet and more. Scrambling and bouldering but no abseiling. Helmets are mandatory. Bring wet bags.
Walk 2: Onion Skins Ironstone Formations and More
Park at GR 533 833 off Bells Line Road and explore the area to the west, mostly on top of the escarpment, where these formations have been found. Mostly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 2 km. Location: Blue Mountains National Park Map: Mount Wilson 8930-1N Limit: 8. View |

Gorgeous coastal scenery as we traverse Guerilla Bay, Burrewarra Point, Long Nose Point and Barlings Beach. Walk past Jimmies and Barlings Islands with views of Broulee Island at the end. Walk will be at a relaxed pace but includes a slightly challenging 1km long rock shelf. There are no public toilets and no potable water supplies along the walk.

![]() ![]() (Fully Booked) Hobnail Canyon is situated on Range creek and offers the enthusiastic canyoner a wonderful and spectacular exploration along a beautiful watercourse which doesn't include any abseils although there are a few short tape sections to negotiate into and out of the canyon, especially at the exit track on South Bowen creek.
Anyone attending needs to bring a helmet/wetsuit/drybag and PFD if you are not a proficient swimmer but you don't need a surfmat or donut as the swims are very short. Traverse east under the cliffs till GR 814 925, then descend to Wheeny Creek and climb a short distance up M-Gully to the waterfall at GR 815 930. Return via a ravine to the south of Wheeny Creek and spot height 537 m. Mostly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 14 km, around 5 km on trail.
