   (NEW!!!) It's Australia Day so we are going to keep cool by walking around the harbour but a bit away from the action. You will experience some of it and hopefully avoid the crowds. We meet at Circular Quay in time for the ferry. Being a bit early should help us get on board. The walk features scenic views and takes us to some interesting military history. Booking essential giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. Hazards: Lots of stairs in places and some road walking. Meet leader at Wharf 4 (check for changes) Circular Quay at 9:05am for the Taronga Zoo ferry. You may choose to meet us at the Taronga Zoo Wharf when we arrive at 9:24am if you prefer. To get home there are frequent bus services to various locations from Balmoral Beach. Note that ferries resume after harbour activities at 12:52pm
