Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longA steep climb up Mt Durras, then walk across to Clear Point and stop for lunch. On the way back explore the new track along the coast back to Pretty. Some up and down hills, along rock platforms, up and down constructed steps. The walk is long but pace will be steady with plenty of time to enjoy the coast on the way back, including swims. Should be back at cars around 3.30pm.

Following our series of walks enjoying the flowers of Spring, we are visiting the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens with their spectacular displays of Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Waratahs. Entry to the Gardens is by donation ($5.00) payable at the Information Booth by cash or card. Then we head off to the lovely and peaceful Popes Glen track to the Fairfax track. We plan to catch the bus back to the station from the NPWS Heritage Centre, at 13:04. This will give us time to have lunch at Blackheath before catching the 14:03 train back to Sydney. Booking essential giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. Some street walking, steps and track obstacles. Creek crossings.

Move north from there, visiting a series of gullies above The Line of Caves to the west, and finishing at around GR 733 000. If time allows, explore the cliff line to the east starting at GR 737 999 before walking back to the start of the walk. About 6 km. Mostly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Rd. through weather-beaten forest to Buckleys Headland. This is a great walk for anyone who isn’t into too many hills with a rewarding unencumbered view south to Narrawallee and north to Cunjarong Point. Coffee afterwards back in Milton but if you would like a restful snack at the headland bring that as well. Good shade if the weather is hot.

Strictly limited spaces, so if interested, please contact me asap. There is 1 place left on this trip. Before the Ecuador trip we'll be going on 2 short trips in Peru, one to Machu Picchu and another to a research station in the middle of the Amazon. Both of these are relatively cheap trips. View
