The walk can be a little steep in sections so ideally, some average fitness will assist. The walk enjoys a lush cabbage tree palm forest and explores historic mining sites around the Mt Kembla area, including a stop in the Windy Gully cemetery. The walk is quite long and does have some hills, but is not overly strenuous. The preference is for adults, but if you want to bring older children over 10yo who are adept at bushwalking it's fine to bring them. This is about a 3hr walk allowing plenty of time to take in the bush, take some photos, meet some new people and enjoy the sights. Snakes and slippery sections. View
