Before returning, if conditions are favourable, we will extend the paddle to explore Haywards Bay and Duck Creek.

This 5-day Colo wilderness pack walk starts and finishes at the end of Grassy Hill Trail. Once down at the Colo, walk downstream and enter Tambo Creek. Walk upstream till about GR 682 150. Ascend northwards, enter Pinchgut Creek and follow it downstream to the Colo. There will be a number of side trips. Detailed plans for each day to be advised. No water needs to be carried. No one need stay at Alivio.
I do need to brief participants on the next days activity the previous evening at Alivio preferably.
I will provide a program well before Nov 2.
The program will be flexible to allow for weather conditions.
No guarantees to do the more distant activities as I need 3 plus myself in areas beyond mobile range.
Roads : sealed to Orroral.
Gravel beyond that.
Condition- depends when last graded.
SUVs ideal
Regular car with decent clearance ut. 140mm plus should manage .

![]() ![]() My wife and I will be heading over to Africa for our 7th safari and this time we are travelling from Kenya in Tanzania for 13 days staying in excellent accommodation including lodges and glamping tents whilst searching for wildlife. There are 10 spaces left on the trip with G Adventures and if any members would love to join us that would be wonderful! Below is the link to the safari.
