Walk one of the iconic trails in Sydney. Leave Taronga Zoo and walk through bush with the harbour a constant companion. Time to make the acquaintance of the many water dragons who call this part of the city home. A steep climb (taken slowly) up to Bradleys Head for lunch then after lunch down the steps to Balmoral. Three choices now available: 1. Catch the bus to Taronga and a ferry back to Circular Quay. 2. Catch a bus back to the city. or 3. Join the leader on a bus to Manly with a ferry ride back to the city. View |

Once in Lithgow you will met by a mini bus and taken to visit Lithgow’s spectacular Gardens of Stone as well as to State Mine Museum, Eskbank House Museum, Secret Creek Sanctuary. Stay overnight at the Lithgow Workers Club Motel. Return to Central Station by 6:30pm the following evening. Katie will talk about progress with her research on the adaptive capacity of Acacia species to climate change and also explain how the grant was able to contribute to her research.
