Grade: 4 hard and overgrown. Walk distance: about 15 km. We warm up by climbing Pigeon House and hope for a brilliant view! We then descend on the steep northwestern side, where the (ex)track is very overgrown, and join Wombat Ridge Trail. We follow this until we head on a footpad to Landslide Creek for a view into the valleys. Return the same way, minus the final ascent to Pigeon House. Location: Morton NP Limit: 12. View |

This is a special trip for us, being guided by Graham Conden. We are walking out to the interesting tessellated pavement with superb views overlooking the Wollangambe Wilderness. The undulating track follows a narrow ridge out to this natural wonder which is important to the Dharug people who have engravings etc. there. Wattle Ridge Road at Hill Top – Nattai Road W11E – follow track along an undulating ridge to Ahearn Lookout and another impressive lookout nearby – return the same way. Descend into Kangaroo Creek at around GR 329 060, then follow the cliff line and ledges all the way to GR 315 056. Exit to Angus Place Trail and walk back to vehicles. About 12 km.
