(Cancelled) The annual trip to Splendour Rock in the Blue Mountains, this time on the very day of full moon with a penumbral lunar eclipse early morning on Sunday. A wonderful experience to see the landscape under full moon, and at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite. Location: Blue Mountains NP Limit: 15. From Warrimoo Station follow roads and paths to pick up the Florabella Pass Track. Follow this good track to eventually descend and cross Glenbrook Creek. Now we ascend the Bullant Track, faint at times, and follow to the Saint Helena Ridge track. Descend to the Duck Hole, cross Glenbrook Creek again and follow tracks and paths to Glenbrook Station. Commence with a short steep climb from the station followed with a long, gradual descent on a variety of un-named tracks to the Hacking River. After a break, back track and follow the Hacking River fire trail and cross the river. Follow the Red Cedar and Karingal circuit and return across the river. Ascend a short off track section to pick up a variety of tracks back to Helensburgh Station. River crossings, slippery rocks and conditions.
