The walk Start at the Meadowbank Train station and will follow the Parramatta River on various paths and tracks to finish at the Cabarita Ferry terminal. It will include the Kokoda Memorial Track, Concord Hospital Memorial Garden, the Grounds of the former Thomas Walker Hospital, Major Bay Reserve and Waterfront Park on Kendal Bay. There will be some street walking Possibility that there could be sections of muddy track. Limit: 20. View

Park cars on Lemon Tree Creek Road, where it meets Highway at its southern end. Walk along bush tracks in Termeil State Forest, with two creek crossings, before ascending to Lemon Tree Creek Road for an easy stroll back to the cars. Location: Termeil SF View

(Date Changed) The Bargo River flows into Mermaid Pools and then on through the Tahmoor Gorge. This walk beside the river passes next to the pools and then descend to the gorge and river. Impressive views of the Mermaid Pools and water falls and cascades in the gorge. The track joins the valley floor and crosses the river twice then returns to the cliff edge via Rosies Pass. Return back to cars via views of Mermaid Pools and the Bargo River. Hazards include slippery rocks, steep descents, river crossings. Map: Picton 9029-4S Limit: 16. View

A flat, easy walk from Tempe Station to Kyeemagh via Cook Park Trail, then along Botany Bay foreshore trail to Sans Souci. Mainly paved paths but some grass. A little street walking also. The walk from Cremorne Point to Taronga Wharf is redolent with history and it oozes with photographic opportunities. At the end of the walk, there is then time for anyone who is interested to spend a couple of hours enjoying some of the sites and sights within the zoo. This most spectacular & scenic coastal walk will pass various terrains, bushlands, beaches, headlands & waterfronts. It will be a delight for watchers of whales, seals, dolphins & birds. Every second Sunday we will utilise public transport to do a section of around 300km of this memorable & beautiful walk. Come & join in our fun & adventure. Today we will start the first section at the Barrenjoey Lighthouse, where you can get a magnificent view of Pittwater, Palm Beach & Barrenjoey headland. We then walk pass a series of rugged headlands, bush tracks with sweeping view of the coast, Pittwater, and finish at Collaroy. Some street & beach walks. Rock scrambling & uneven surfaces. The best part of this walk follows a track above Lapstone Creek. A lot of the walk is in Knapsack Park Reserve on the Escarpment. Yoogali Lookout overlooks Penrith Lakes. A few creek crossings. A variety of tracks, trails and roads to be negotiated including MTB tracks which are eroded, rough and steep in places. Map: Springwood and Penrith Limit: 20. View

We meet at Palm Beach Ferry Wharf after our bus ride up the coast at 10:15 am ready to board our ferry to Ettalong. Our journey takes us across the mighty Hawkesbury River, past Lion Island and up the channel into the placid Brisbane Water. On alighting the ferry at Ettalong, we will walk along the flat to climb Blackwall Mountain (121m) for absolutely spectacular views, before descending and walking along the largely flat parks adjoining beautiful Brisbane Water. We follow the shoreline until we reach Woy Woy Station to catch a train home. Booking essential giving your phone, emergency contact and NPA numbers. Walk through the locked gate at the entrance to Budderoo National Park and follow the Hindmarch Pass track until reaching an unmarked track to the left, which leads to Les Lambert Lookout.  This provides a lovely lunch place among the rocks with wonderful views into Upper Kangaroo Valley.
