Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFirst time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Photography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.We meet at Palm Beach Ferry Wharf after our bus ride up the coast at 10:15 am ready to board our ferry to Ettalong. Our journey takes us across the mighty Hawkesbury River, past Lion Island and up the channel into the placid Brisbane Water. On alighting the ferry at Ettalong, we will walk along the flat to climb Blackwall Mountain (121m) for absolutely spectacular views, before descending and walking along the largely flat parks adjoining beautiful Brisbane Water. We follow the shoreline until we reach Woy Woy Station to catch a train home. Booking essential giving your phone, emergency contact and NPA numbers. Hazards: Possible rough seas, some street walking and tracks can be rough in places.

More details given when you book, but catch the 8:25 am B1 bus from Stand B in Carrington Street, opposite Wynyard Station, change to the 199 Palm Beach bus at Mona Vale. Meet at the Palm Beach Ferry Wharf at 10:15 am, ready for a 10:30 departure. Seniors ferry fare is $7.35. Trains run frequently from Woy Woy Station to return you to Sydney.
