9-10 May, Sat-Sun | Berry Weekend
Southern Sydney Branch
Bob C. | |||||
(Cancelled) Big Country. Music festival Berry Weekend. A few of you asked about this year so here it is. The line up not quite as good as last year but still some great acts here. (Particularly McClymonts, Wolf brothers, Brand, Cox, Lawrence, Barnes…). Take your own picnic chair. So my plan would be to car camp at Kangaroo Valley on Friday night (Glenmack), enjoy a meal around the fire, sleep in and cook up a good breaky on Saturday morning. Drive to Berry (19km). Attend Big Country (last year went from 12pm lunchtime until 11pm), head back to Glenmack. Sunday can walk around beautiful Kangaroo Valley and if interested hire canoe for the paddle from Hampden Bridge to Bendeela (5km) or head up to Fitzroy Waterfall and walk the Rim Tracks. Cost is $95 for Big Country, $45 for canoe hire (90 for double canoe). Includes pick up to get back to Kangaroo Valley. Fitzroy Falls free. View |
