The highlight and one of the main reasons for this walk is to visit the stunning and colourful Cotton Candy sea caves north of Moonee Beach. This will be one of our first ports of call as we head south along the coast, walking, swimming and exploring the beautiful Munmorah SRA. So bring your cossies, blockout and a sense of adventure. (Fully Booked) This walk near Wisemans Ferry oozes history. It's a steady climb up Devines Hill, the old convict-built road that contains so many remnants of the 1820s, plus lots of information signs. Once at the top of the hill we'll take the Shepherds Gully Loop and then return to the Old Great North Road. Then we'll take the Finchs Line track back down to Wisemans Ferry Road. A 3km car shuffle will be involved. Joint walk with The Bush Club. The lower section of Finchs Line is very rough underfoot. Location: Dharug NP Map: Lower Portland 90312S Limit: 12. View

Find out for yourself why this unique area must be protected for future generations. Park on the road from Mount Airly to Genowlan Trig where there is suitable space. Walk up the road to the top of the plateau and then take the road to Genowlan Trig. Leave this road at about GR 253 320 and head east to the top, southern end of the Valley of the Dinosaurs. We will then proceed down the valley stopping to explore as many slots as possible on both sides. Next, visit the Ultimate Slot and then return to the road and to the vehicles. Today we walk from North Ryde to Thornleigh. It's a beautiful bushwalk along the Lane Cove River, somewhat rocky but generally good track, ending with a steep climb to Thornleigh Station at the end. There are 5 mild creek crossings. Beautiful sandstone caves, magestic gum trees and grass trees are there to welcome you. The track is adorned with wildflowers: Boronia, wattles, rice flowers, grevillea and more. Steep and slippery sections, creek crossings. Map: Lane Cover River Park Limit: 15. View

We will meet at Illoura Picnic Area which is marked '4 Illoura' After the picnic, you can enjoy a paddle (PFDs compulsory), a walk or just enjoy the park. A few  guided walk will be on offer at 1 pm. One of them is a hidden gem. From Fullers Bridge, we'll walk along the river, visiting Mowbray Park, Batten Reserve and Stringy Bark Reserve.  Door prizes too!  I will be leading The river walk after lunch: 12 km 200 m elevation. This walk will be led by Heather Lakiss. RSVP direct to heatherlakiss@gmail.com The track meanders through the beautiful bushland of Sheldon Forest, along ridge tops, through open forest on the hill slopes and down to the creek side, following a stream that boasts a number of small waterfalls. The forest is one of the few remaining pieces of the Blue Gum high forest in the Sydney Basin. It is of high conservation status because it contains some of the last remnants of the endangered ecological communities. Echidnas, bowerbirds, water dragons, golden whistlers, pardalotes and powerful owls have been seen. (Fully Booked) Starting from Mt Colah Station, we'll walk through the streets to the NP entry point. From there it's on bush track down the hill to Kalkari Visitors Centre. Then, we continue down to Bobbin Head, on the Warrimoo Track beside Cowan Creek before climbing the hill and heading for the end of Warrimoo Ave, St Ives Chase. Once into the bush, there's a good deal of shade if the day is hot. A water refill can be had at the Bobbin Head Marina. Joint walk with The Bush Club.  Fully Vaccinated members only. Co-leaders: Esther and Ewan Cain.  The challenge SWAG walk of the year.  Two litres of water is mandatory.  Exploratory walk on Sams Creek Track, Berkely Firetrail and Crowley Trail.  Nice track with beautiful creek at the bottom. Berkeley is a fairly easy walk to Naa Badu Lookout. From here, we backtrack down to Crosswalks and make our way down to Sam’s Creek.  It is a big drop of 200m to the water. From Sam's Creek, we go uphill to Berowra via Sams Creek trail and Berkely Firetrail., which is very pretty. Lots of ups and downs, stairs and steps. Steep and slippery sections. Warm weather View
