Drive to approximately GR 468 058 on the Deep Pass Trail. Head down a spur trending slightly west of south and then south as it nears Dingo Creek. Visit Howling Arch, an amazing natural feature. Enter Dingo Creek and progress downstream for about 1.3km, visiting the scenic Pool of Diana on the way, continue underneath high cliffs to GR 476 048, the start of a north, north west trending ravine. Follow the ravine up, visiting the spectacular Pool of Aphrodite along the way, to eventually reconnect with the trail and the vehicles. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure. Bundeena – Maianbar – Bundeena. Mostly flat and easy walking along the beach and through reserves. Some steps and street walking. Water views most of the day. Some sand walking (hopefully mostly hard sand). Very relaxed pace. There is a short section each way where there is an ascent/descent over unsealed and uneven surfaces which may be slippery after rain. We will take this section very slowly. If you're after superlative views, wonderful sections of rainforest and colourful flowering heathlands then this walk from Stanwell Park Station to Austinmer Station via the Wodi Wodi, Bullock and Escarpment Tracks should be high on your priority. Add a magnificent historic viaduct and a top lunch spot at Sublime Point will make this a day walk to remember. The Wodi Wodi Track can be slippery in parts after rain.
