 (Updated Details) Starting from Buxton Ave on the edge of Nattai NP, we follow a short distance on fire trails to the Blue Gum Lookout for morning tea. We will then back track a little and pick up a newly marked track and make our way down to a creek gully. We will follow this creek bed down to the Blue Gum Forest and onto the W41 Fire Road in Thirlmere Lakes NP. We follow this road a short distance then head off track up 160m to rejoin our morning tea spot and follow the fire trails back to our cars.
NOTES: New walk. A little more challenging than last year's route but no car shuffle and some magnificent sandstone cliffs. Hazards: Uneven and possibly slippery track in places. Off track section.
