For anyone not wanting to do the full trip is to lunch below The Rock LO and wait for the return of the craft that went to Erskine Creek.

![]() After a short traverse of suburban streets the track dives into bush at the southern end of the Park, passing remnants of the historic Zig Zag Railway, then wandering through Berowra Creek valley, passing a few cascading creeks. The track undulates along the side of the valley through moist fern forests and the drier grasstrees and eucalypts of the ridge. The Westleigh engravings can be visited along with the Fishponds, before climbing the Depression-era stone steps to Hornsby Station. Later stages of the GNW will be offered over coming months. Joint walk with Bush Club. Medium pace. Uneven surfaces, steps, tree roots. Slippery after substantial rain. Steep climb up steps at the end.Location: Berowra Valley N P Limit: 20. View |

Come and see the world’s tallest Spotted Gum. Grade: 2/3 Distance: 3-4km.
From Termeil we will drive on the old Highway and Middle Ridge Forest roads to park in a forest clearing. The walk is along remote forest roads and a short but steep bush track to commune with Big Spotty (a magnificent old Spotted Gum recently threatened by proposed logging in the surrounding state forest). Return to the cars via the same route. Coffee afterwards at Lucy’s Café, Bawley Point. Limit: 12.

A mainly downhill walk from lower Durras Mountain to Kioloa.
Following a short car shuffle, we will walk a fire trail onto the lower reaches of Durras Mountain, then descend via walking track to Pretty Beach. We can visit the singing stones and return to Pretty Beach for morning tea. Afterwards we will continue north to Merry Beach via Snapper Point and on to the marine rescue station at Kioloa for lunch. We conclude with an easy stroll along Kioloa Beach to return to the vehicles for afternoon tea. Some sand walking and rock platforms.Location: Murramarang NP Limit: 20. View |

We launch in the crystal-clear waters opposite the river mouth then head upstream to explore deep into two mangrove forests. We will then paddle further upstream to a very civilised table and chairs near Nungarry Rest Area for lunch before heading back.
