It's also flat surf. Bring snacks, drinks, sun protection and water gears. After beach activities which include swimming, snorkelling, standup paddle, and kayaking, return to your car or on the ferry. The walking distance will be about 6km with 200m elevation if you walk from West Head Road. There will be very little walk if you arrive by ferry and return by ferry. Alternatively, you can do a self guided walk from the basin to West Head Road and back to the basin(6km 200m elevation).  In your RSVP, please state if you will be going by ferry or driving. Hazards: Hazards associated with beach activities. Slippery sections.

Time for coffee and convenience break before boarding ferry to The Basin at 11am, arriving The Basin at 11:20am. 2) Drive to the Basin Trail Trackhead at West Head Road, meet at 10am.
