Walking from Otford to Bundeena via Burning Palms Beach, Garie Beach, Eagle Rock, Curracurrang, Wattamolla. Some exposed sections, the track is fairly tough, following the coast up and over many headlands, some of which are a steep climb. Carry plenty of water, snacks, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Walk is planned to finish at Bundeena at approx. 4:30pm, in time for the 5pm ferry from Bundeena to Cronulla. Please bring some small change and Senior’s Card, where applicable, for the 'private' ferry (they don't accept Opal Card).

Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Only second to the Wollangambe Canyon in its spectacular scenery, DuFaurs Creek Canyon involves no abseiling but wonderful sections of liloable creek to entice the summer visitor into its cool confines! Exit will be Joes Canyon back onto the well-trodden Wollangambe Tourist Track to Mt Wilson. This is really a superb and not too hard lilo trip for those water lovers amongst us. Slippery rocks and creek walking.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(NEW!!!) Half of this walk is in an unprotected area of Newnes SF; the other half is in the Blue Mountains NP. The straight boundary line, drawn by politicians, makes no sense when it comes to natural beauty. See it for yourself! Park the vehicles at the locked gate at the end of Waratah Ridge Road. Walk into and down the Hair of the Dog Ravine at GR 493 038. After exiting the ravine, make our way west to Cerberus Creek and its canyon. Go through the canyon, visiting Cerberus Falls and exit at about GR 472 038. Walk on the road back to the cars.

With its immaculate gardens, boardwalk, lighting and furniture, Paddington Reservoir Gardens offers a relaxing oasis for the community to enjoy in the heart of Paddington.It has been described as a combination of the Baths of Caracalla and The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Optional lunch at The Lord Dudley Hotel.  It is one of Sydney's oldest and most loved family run English pubs. This is a historic walk http://heritagedrive.com.au/project/history-walk-faulconbridge-steam-saw-mill-site/. We walk from Linden to Faulconbridge. Visit an Aboriginal site and the historic sawmill, and a few rocky vantage points, which offered spectacular views of the valley. The track to the creek is steep and involves some rock scrambling but it is adorned with wildflowers of various colours, overhangs and caves. Unfortunately this walk involves 4 km of street walking.View Esther's future walks Creek crossings, steep and slippery sections. A lovely walk to do with the usual great scenery and the usual lovely Koscie bushland and flowers.

Meet at the parking area opposite Otford Pie Shop then follow cliff track to Bald Hill. Descend to Stanwell Park and follow a faint track and rocky shoreline to Snake Gully. Ascend and follow off-track section to Bulgo Beach. Return to Pie Shop on well-formed track.
SECOND LOOP, follow coast track and descend to the Hell Hole, Werrong Beach. Ascend on an old indistinct track to Werrong Point and lookout. Return to the station via the coast track visiting Split Rock Canyon along the way. Relaxed pace.

Some of the regular walks have been heavily impacted by fire, some Snowy huts and other infrastructure destroyed but others not, so we’ll need to carefully select which areas to visit. Importantly we will have the opportunity to survey and learn what’s happening with the recovery of the landscape by then while offering support to the impacted communities of the region. Cross the Hacking River and ascend on the Burgh Track to Garawarra Farm. Follow the cliff track and descend the Lilyvale Track. Locate and follow the Karingal and Red Cedar Tracks to again cross the Hacking River. Ascend a steep, short off-track section and follow a variety of tracks back to the station. Relaxed pace. River crossings, slippery conditions, cliff edges.

Today we walk from Garie Beach to Otford. Always wanted to do the Coast Track but 28 km and 900 m elevation in one day is not your cup of tea? This is your chance to do it in 3 sections with public transport option. Garie Beach to Otford. Catch the shuttle from Sutherland at 8am, arriving Garie Beach at 8:55. Walk to Otford to catch train at 1:15pm or 3:15 depending on pace of group. Bundeena to Shoalhavens Steep and slippery sections.
