We'll catch the train from Central at 8:48am, arriving Katoomba at 10:32am, giving you time for a coffee. Actually, it's best to eat something as we won't have time to have a lengthy lunch. Then we catch the 698V bus from Katoomba at 11:19 arriving Closeburn Drive at Mt York Road at 11:56am. We walk to Mount York Lookout and then return to Mount Victoria Station. Return train leaves at 4 pm. Walk the historic Coxs Road and see the Historic Wells. If you complete the whole 14 sections, you will be awarded with a certificate. Day 1. Leave cars at Sassafras parking area on Endrick River fire trail. Walk/ride to Newhaven Gap. Turn off fire trail onto Folly Point walking track and continue to Folly Point then down to Hollands Creek via Watsons Pass. Approx 600 m descent to Hollands Creek. Camp on Hollands Creek.
Day 2. Walk upstream on Hollands Crk, Angel Crk to base of Crooked Falls and return. Same camp on Hollands Crk.
Day 3. Return to cars by same route.

Park cars at GR 435 069 and drop down into Camp Creek. Follow it, inspecting overhangs along the way, then scramble above the amazing Devils Throat. Next, descend back into Camp Creek and head east into the gorge and visit the Devils Throat from the bottom. Depending on the time, return via a pass to the south or via East Creek. Walk Kurnell to Cronulla. Medium pace: Grade 3. 377m ascent, 389m descent, 15 kms (approx. 5 hours). This walk passes by Cape Solander Lookout and Whale Observation Platform, Cape Bailey Lighthouse, Boat Harbour Beach and Rock Platform, Wanda and Elourea beaches, finishing at Cronulla Beach. There may be some wet and muddy sections and some exposed sections, whale watching (June, July, August). Opportunity for a swim. Coffee at the end of the walk. Bring morning/afternoon tea and picnic lunch. View |

Co-Leader is Libby Sommer. An easy walk by the harbour. We will stop for morning tea and lunch at a foreshore park. First destination is McKell Park on the shores of Sydney Harbour with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the west and Sydney Heads to the east. We’ll walk down steps to Steyne Park and along the beach at Double Bay on our way up the hill to beautifully restored heritage Blackburn Gardens for more spectacular views of the harbour. Blackburn Gardens adjoins the Murray Rose Pool (formerly Redleaf Pool). Bring a costume if you’d like to swim. Drop out point at Double Bay Ferry Wharf. Up and down leafy streets on a circular walk and return to Edgecliff Station.
