From Narrow Neck Track head down a natural pass on a late 1800s miners route.  The track leads down to the old Glen Shale Mine from where there is an old overgrown tram line which connects to the Devils Hole Track and the climb to the chock stone at the finish of the Devils Hole. Steep and slippery sections, rock scrambling, some narrow exposed ledges, steep descent and creek crossings. Limit: 12. View

Contact leader.) Drive to Newnes on Friday afternoon. Share accommodation in the comfy and fully equipped Newnes Cabins. Friday night spotlighting (wombats, possums, roos etc guaranteed). Saturday a decent walk to be announced. Saturday night help celebrate Paul Webster's 70th and sit around the campfire. Sunday smaller walk or explore the ruins. For those not wishing to walk, Newnes is a great place to spend a lazy day. Cost is approx. $100 per person for both nights. Bring a plate to share for each of the evening meals. The limit of 23 will decrease if others non NPA start booking the cabins. Slippery sections.

There are plenty of spots along the way to relax and enjoy the views. It is flat pretty much all the way so isn’t too strenuous. And, oh, did I mention whales? Follow fire trail along Devlins Creek to the junction of the Great North Walk (GNW). Follow GNW until we come to the turnoff to the Terrys Creek Track. Follow this track through various parks until we arrive at Vimiera Park. Road walk to Eastwood Railway Station. Flannel flowers and other flowers in bloom at the moment. Rough and slippery track in a few spots. Creek crossings.
