Day 1: Park at Benjang Gap, GR 300 930. Walk to Lee Creek and then upstream to GR 328 904. Take water for the day (or carry from home). Climb to Lost Chord Crater, continue to Lost Chord Saddle, then climb south west on Tal Tal Ridge to about GR 339 890. Descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at about GR 330 884. Take water for high camp and next morning, climb westwards and camp at around GR 324 885. If time permits, explore high cliffs to the south east (we may even camp there). About 12 km.
Day 2: Spend the morning exploring Lee Castle immediately to the north west, then descend into Lee Creek, take water for the high camp and the next day and climb to Labyrinth Saddle (eastern end) at GR 315 903. Then climb Labyrinth Peak, GR 311 901, to camp. About 6 km.
Day 3: Return to the Labyrinth Saddle. Explore around to the north and north east. If possible, descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at around GR 316 909; otherwise return to the saddle and use a known descent route to the north. Walk back to the cars. About 8 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. 6M, M333E.

The river has more than 12 tributary creeks flowing into it and is the main tributary of Sydney Harbour. Good paths and a river crossing. Then walk west to the central spine and have a look at the blind slot at GR 422 233. Head along the spine of the ridge and find a way down to the next level towards west at about GR 420 236. The idea is to explore the next 250 m of pagodas and slots, until 4170 E. Return either via Ariadne Thread or down to Minotaur Lair if there is no time. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

We will visit World heritage sites in Kathmandu and then fly to Bhutan for a cultural tour 6 days, and climb up to Tigers Nest Monastery... From there we walk around and see some of the wonderful views over the coast from Stanwell Tops before descending 150 metres to Stanwell Park Station for the journey home. Most of the walk is fairly flat except for the descent to Stanwell Park. Uneven and possibly slippery track surfaces and creek crossings.

About 6 km, depending on the terrain. Day 2: From our camp site, walk west and use Spring Log Pass to climb Spring Log Ridge. Follow it north as far the time allows, then descend east into Paradise Gully or Growee River and return to camp. Depending on the terrain, could be about 12 km. Day 3: Break camp, take our gear and walk 1.5 km back on Growee Trail to about GR 320 773. Leave our gear and take the water for the day. Walk west on a rough trail for about 500 m, then, at about GR 315 775, climb and explore the ridge running north, north west as far as GR 302 797. From here, descend into a canyon like gully to the north east and attempt to negotiate it all the way back south east towards the start of the walk, adjusting for the terrain as necessary. Depending on the terrain, could be about 10 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.
