Backtrack and follow the Hacking River Fire trail and cross the river. Follow the Karingal and Red Cedar Tracks and return across the river. Ascend a short off-track section to pick up a variety of tracks back to Helensburgh Station. River crossings, steep edges.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFirst time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)(Leader Changed) This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wildflowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Walk starts at Wanganderry Fire Trail yards. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.
