I want to check out Dadder Cave so the walk will only be on trails until the bottom of the Pisgah Rock Track then boulder hopping up the creek. Rock hopping along the creek and rock scrambling up Mnkey Ropes Creek.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longWe follow the Topham Track to its end and then keep going off-track till we hit the shoreline of Refuge Bay, part of Broken Bay. We then walk along the low tide sand flats to the celebrated Waterfall Beach where Z Force was based during WW2. A water taxi then takes us to America Bay where we climb a hill to the return track to the road past a lovely swimming hole. This is a short but very scenic walk on a route not often walked. Limit: 16. View

This section of the Great North Walk starts from Hornsby Train Station and winds down along the Blue Gum Walk into Fishponds and along Berowra Creek. The walk passes through the Tunks Ridge Reserve and then into Galston Gorge. From here the walk keeps following the Berowra Creek through the Crosslands campsite to Calna Creek, and then up to Mt Kuring-gai. Steep and slippery sections. A few creek crossings. Need to watch out for some of the unsteady stepping stones at Galston Gorge

Fantastic boulder ridges, alpine frost hollows and bountiful swamps are just a few worth seeing on its expansive system of tracks. This is a car based camp, costing $10 a person per night at the comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campsite, only a short drive from the nations capitol. I expect to also visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve during our stay as lots of wildlife worth spotting within its confines. Optional rock scrambling.
