Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPark at GR 727 932 on Mountain Lagoon Road. Walk north along Nirvana Ridge on an old fire trail, then off-track to Nirvana Caves. Next, traverse underneath the cliff line to the south-west, then south, looking for more caves. The exit point back to Nirvana Ridge will depend on available time. Once on top, follow the ridge back to the car. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Park some cars at the end of the walk, drive back along Mt Hay Rd and start at the corner of Mt Hay Road and Fortress Ridge Trail, walk past Fortress Rock Lookout, the Cave and Waterfall to the Fortress Ridge Lookout, turn around, on the way back turn into Fortress Canyon Entry Track, cross Fortress Creek, then along an indistinct track to the Lockleys Pylon Track on to Lockleys Pylon, and then walk back to Mt Hay Road. Steep and slippery sections, creek crossings, scrambling uphill on indistinct track and possible fallen trees across track.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) Starting from the car park at the junction of Mt York Road and the Nature Walk, walk along the track alongside Mt York Road to Bardens Lockout, Mt York and then along the Nature Walk to Lockyers Track Head, Hartley Vale and continue along the track back to the car park. Mount York was the point where Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth viewed the Hartley Valley and the ‘west’ for the first time during their successful crossing of the Blue Mountains in 1813. Muddy, steep and slippery sections.

Continue along the Pipeline crossing Heathcote Rd to find a steep track descending to the Woronora River. Follow a faint track along the river and ascend to the upper escarpment. Continue along cliff edge with good views of the river. Descend the Pass of Sabugal, cross the river and continue along the Pipeline. Follow various trails and tracks to Sutherland Station. Relaxed pace. Lots of ups and downs. River crossings, cliff edges, slippery, loose rocky sections.

Different lunch  options available. From Meadowbank station proceed via Meadowbank Park, Parramatta Valley River Walk to Melrose Park and Ermington. We pass Casuarinas and Mangroves and George Kendall Riverside Park, and continue to Silverwater. Crossing Parramatta River, we continue on the River Walk via Wilson Park, Blaxland Riverside Park, Newington Armory and Parklands and Waterbird sanctuary. Passing Olympic Park ferry wharf, we cross the new bridge into Rhodes and finish at the station. Energetic walkers can continue and explore Bicentennial Park and Olympic Park.   Limit: 18. View

This will be a 4 day full pack walk far from the maddening crowds of Easter to an area of wild rugged beauty full of complex ridge systems, a multitude of pagodas, superlative views and comfortable campsites with the odd camp cave thrown in. Gaze at the stars at night and warm yourselves around the campfire and enjoy the splendid isolation of this rarely visited area not all that far from Sydney's doorstep. People interested in this walk should be used to offtrack walking. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

It's also flat surf. Bring snacks, drinks, sun protection and water gears. After beach activities which include swimming, snorkelling, standup paddle, and kayaking, return to your car or on the ferry. The walking distance will be about 6km with 200m elevation if you walk from West Head Road. There will be very little walk if you arrive by ferry and return by ferry. Alternatively, you can do a self guided walk from the basin to West Head Road and back to the basin(6km 200m elevation).  In your RSVP, please state if you will be going by ferry or driving. Hazards associated with beach activities. Slippery sections.

Walk along the track to Asgard Head Lookout, the old mine and coke oven, Thor Head Lookout and return to Victoria Falls Road. Drive on to the end of the road and walk down the track passing Narrow Neck Lookout, Grose Valley Lookout, Victoria Falls Cascade and Victoria Fall. Return along the track to the parked cars. Steep, slippery, and muddy sections. Creek crossings.

The track leads down to the old Glen Shale Mine from where there is an old overgrown tram line which connects to the Devils Hole Track and the climb to the chock stone at the finish of the Devils Hole. Car shuttle will be required. Please let me know if you are driving. Steep and slippery sections, rock scrambling, some narrow exposed ledges, steep descent and creek crossings.
