River views.  Mostly on well formed paths through reserves and quiet streets. Some street walking, mostly quiet.  Shared pathways.  Exit points available at Concord West, Mortlake and Kissing Point Ferry Wharf. Moderate pace. Meeting place and time will be advised on booking. Steps, ups and downs, some unformed and unsealed tracks which could be muddy and slippery following rain. Walking poles may assist. Shared pathways.  Limit: 14. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFirst time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Photography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.LEADER: LINH QUACH We start from Circular Quay and walk around the Opera House to the Royal Botanical Gardens.  If you are lucky, we will see the seal on the foreshore.  Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Gardens when Rock orchids are in bloom. Paper daisies, tulips, and other flowers are also in bloom. The Calyx is alive with exhibition and colours. Visit the herb gardens and the ponds. At 11:30 am, we will join the Government House tour to see its spendour with modern and old world decorations. See the magnificent modern carpet recreation of the original from 200 years ago. The dining room is flooded with light and warmth from the sun. Learn about the architecture and the history from the tour guide. See two very Grand pianos. The ornate windows all have lovely views of the garden. The tour ends at the garden of the Government house. We will walk around the beautiful garden before heading back to Circular Quay via the sculptures and the footbridge. Please rsvp by 1 September so that I can book you in the tour View

A circuit walk which includes the old tramway track, tunnel and lookout giving views towards the Blue Mountains. NB: We will be varying this walk from the supplied GPX file to avoid the closed track sections resulting  from rains earlier this year. Hazards:• Rough tracks, creek crossings and some steep sections.

The Bondi to Maroubra Beach Coastal Walk is a 12 km clifftop walk that combines together several shorter walks including the Bondi to Coogee Walk into a route that links together all the main beaches in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer various options to take a rest, have a swim or to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. There are some sections where you need to walk a short part along suburban streets, but the majority of the route is along footpaths This iconic coastal walk passes by many beaches including Bondi Beach, Mackenzies Bay, Tamarama, Bronte Beach, Clovelly Beach, Gordon's Bay, Coogee Beach, Lurline Bay and Maroubra Beach.

On this trip i plan to exlore it in detail and include the truly beautiful and rugged clifflines,pagodas and slots directly to its north. This canyon has been off limits for over a year so it will be great to get back and enjoy its superbness! Rock scrambling and off track walking

Day 1 - Park near Canobla Gap and ascend Mount Canobla on a razor blade spur. Continue to Mt Gundangaroo and camp near the trig. Water was found before in a nearby gully, however this is not guaranteed. Day 2 – Walk to St Johns Point and back, then descend to Canobla Gap Trail and walk back to the cars. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. About 10 km.

From Otford Station ascend to the Coast Track. Follow link track to Bald Hill, descend and follow faint tracks and rocky shoreline to Snake Gully. Ascend off track, sometimes on narrow exposed ledges and follow off track route to Bulgo Beach (shack village). From station follow roads and ascend off track section to Kelly Falls Knoll. Continue to Kelly Falls, Princess Marina track to Stanwell Tops. Descend to Stanwell Park and follow the route to start the Eastern Loop. Narrow exposed ledges, cliff edges, slippery conditions. Limit: 12. View

This delightful and spectacular walk follows faint and rough tracks through low scrub with abundant wildflowers, crosses rock outcrops with excellent Aboriginal engravings and  finishes at a point overlooking Stingray Bay and Cowan Creek, returning the same way. Please advise if you are coming by car and the number of passengers you can take to the track head. Hazards: faint, rough tracks, overhanging vegetation, slippery when wet.
