Saturday afternoon/night attend Red Hot Summer Music festival Berry showground (Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Troy Cassar- Daley, Vika and Linda Bull etc) Sunday morning walk to Kangaroo River and hire kayaks. Kayak 5km downstream to Bendeela where you get picked up and bought back to town.  Walk back to town for a late lunch at the Friendly Inn and drive home.  You will need to organise your own accommodation and purchase music tickets. Swim | A trip that involves swimmingWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFrom the lofty heights of Pisgah Rock we will drop down into the incredibly scenic Erskine Creek Gorge which we will follow downstream, past some truly superb swimming holes, stopping of course for a dip. Cascade after cascade will be passed, along with dramatic overhangs and rock shelves. Then it's back up the excellent Jack Evans Track to the escarpment rim. Rock hopping.

Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Co-leader: Geoff Fox. No abseils but plenty of scrambling (use of rope), rock hopping, and short swims. We will do the extended version, starting at Mount Wilson Road and exiting at the entrance to the Bowens Creek North Lower (abseiling) section. Helmets are compulsory. Bring dry bags. Wetsuits recommended. About 8 km. Canyon Grade 3.

The Harbour to Hawkesbury bushwalk is a well-marked route from Manly to Berowra Waters, traversing Garigal, Ku-ring-gai Chase and Berowra Valley National Parks through a variety of terrain.

Section 1 is Manly to Davidson Park.   Stunning coastal scenery along Manly Scenic Walkway. Pleasant walking along Middle Harbour & around Bantry Bay through Garigal NP Early exit available at the Spit View

Final 2-3 km on road then partly around Wentworth Falls Lake. This walk was cancelled on 12 December due to inclement weather. Steep, muddy, rough sections.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.The route from Cronulla Station to the East coast passes some of the colourful murals of Cronulla. The walk then turns south along the Esplanade, with ocean views changing from Cape Baily in the north to Jibbon Head in the south. As the path turns past Bass and Flinders Point the shores from Bundeena to Maianbar and further into Port Hacking come into view. From Hungry Point a combination of roads, parks and beaches leads north along Gunnamatta Bay back to Cronulla Station. Hazards: Laneways & roads, cliff edges, steps, sandy beaches.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.(Fully Booked) Clover Hill Rd is a management track leading to a rough track down to the Macquarie Rivulet.  After crossing the rivulet there is an indistinct track which leads to Balancing Rock and a lovely waterfall.  Return is by the same route. Hazards: Rough track, slippery creek crossings, steep sections.

From Bowral Pool we depart at 8:00am which is one hour earlier than normal departure time. Hazards: Mostly still water. Possibility of one short section with quick flow if river is flowing. Limit: 20. View

Walking down to Cowan creek from Mt Kuring-gai, then the track to Berowra station. Final climb to the station to end the walk follows the small creek from Berowra. This walk is through bush and forest with views of Cowan creek. Hazards: Track had been closed due to land slip, repairs made, hope to see this section. May still have loose surface.

Oatley Park is not the usual suburban park.  It is full of surprises.  We'll start from Oatley train station. Walk along Mulga Road to Oatley Park. Have morning tea at The Castle. Walk down to the Jewfish Bay walk skirting Lime Kiln Head all the way to Lime Kiln Bay. Cross the bridge to the wooden boardwalk at the mangrove to The Wetlands. Climb to Oatley Bush Playground to Webster Lookout and walked back to Jewfish bay before walking back to Mortdale station. We might see  Orchids and wetlands inhabitants. The locals swear by the coffee shop at the station.  We meet at the coffee shop.  Come early if you want to join me for a cup of coffee.  After walk, there are options for lunch at Mortdale. Steep and slippery sections View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFind out why this part of the Gardens of Stone SCA must be better protected for the future generations. Park at GR 398 038. Descend into Gang Gang Canyon and walk all the way through to Gang Gang Tunnels, visiting the cave at about GR 309 400, as well as the cave at GR 405 043. After exploring the Gang Gang Tunnels, turn south and walk to the falls at GR 407 045, whilst inspecting the caves along the way. Continue south to visit Lots Wife and the adjacent cave. Find a way out to the western side and re-connect with the cars. About 6km. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure.
