Hazards: Rough track, creek crossings need sandals or alternative footwear.

Walk north east, initially on the old firetrail to spot heights 1004 and 1002. Turn north, then east and make our way to the cliff edge at about GR 397 160. From here, commence exploration of this dissected terrain going south. There is much to see and do before we reach the point GR 410 144 above the Flying Carpet. This is likely to be two walks. About 8 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

We will also follow the 40 Foot Track down to the river on the return leg and then back over Mt Alexandra to the finish. Track steep in places.

Steep but interesting climb up from Sand Hole. Walking beside Glenbrook Creek is rough going at times.

Hazards: Rough track, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Ahearn's lookout is found by following the beginning of Starlight's Track.  Take a left fork leading to Rocky Waterholes Lookout and just past this junction look for a right turn which meanders along the ridge to Ahearn's lookout.  This gives views over the Nattai with Mt Jellore easily identified.  Return by the same route. Hazards: Rough track, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

Many steps and some rocky sections on tracks which have been somewhat eroded with recent rain.

Walk north north west, then west to GR 323 070, near spot height 1066. Continue underneath the cliff line and explore the multiple ravines of Kangaroo Creek, going south, until about GR 330 062. Re-connect with the vehicles. About 8 km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

This is a great walk and not that difficult although it does entail some scrambling, mainly off-track walking, but certainly worth it. Rock scrambling.

Hazards: Rough, steep fire trail and fallen trees.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longRidgewell Road – Burramoko Ridge – Baltzer Lookout – Burramoko Ridge – Crayfish Creek – Burra Korain Ridge – Ridgewell Road. Fabulous views from Burramoko Head and a nice off-track walk to Crayfish Ck and Burra Korain Ridge. The downside is the road walking. Graded a 4 due to the off-track section. Fire trail, track, off-track with mild scrub, easy creek crossing.
