Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longSwim | A trip that involves swimmingSlow pace | A trip where the leader will set an easy pace.(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Deep Pass Canyon is quite possibly the easiest wet canyon you can do and you can normally manage to stay dry for most of of this trip if you are agile. Even then you'll only normally get wet up to your waist. There are no abseils but there are quite a few places where you need to haul yourself up short length ropes. Along the way you'll encounter many small and stunning waterfalls and cascades where a swim is certainly worthwhile experiencing! Before the canyon we will do a short sidetrip to the impressive Split Rock which has some interesting tunnels within its imposing structure. Rock scrambling and slippery bits.
