Mark G.
Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longCamp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.I regard the walk through the Morong Deep on the Kowmung River as the best river trip within the greater Sydney region I've ever done. Within this spectacular granite gorge is a myriad of beautiful pools and cascades with little scrub to impede the canyoner and a hundred and one places worth a swim to consider. If you want to come on an exciting, stimulating and ultimately satisfying trip then this is hard to beat! i intend to walk down Megalith ridge and establish a basecamp at Howling Dingo camp then walk upstream with daypacks to explore all of the above! this will give us greater flexibility and allow us unencombered of our heavy packs to really get stuck into the beauty of the marvellous Morong Deep! Rock hopping and scrambling.
