|Sunnyside Ridge – Carne Creek Tributary – Cake Cave – Van Lierops Crack – Cash Ridge – Birds Rock. Not a long walk but a very interesting area with surprising features. Mainly off-track, mild scrub, some fire trail, creek crossing.

|A 3-day full pack walk from Mountain Lagoon to camp at Colo Meroo on the Colo River. Lovely scenery and a great campsite in the valley near the river. We spend a full day and two nights at the campsite to enjoy the area.

|A wonderful day walk on our doorstep of Sydney with the promise of a swim in the beautiful pool in Erskine Creek. I want to check out Dadder Cave so the walk will only be on trails until the bottom of the Pisgah Rock Track then boulder hopping up the creek. Rock hopping along the creek and rock scrambling up Mnkey Ropes Creek.

|We follow the Topham Track to its end and then keep going off-track till we hit the shoreline of Refuge Bay, part of Broken Bay. We then walk along the low tide sand flats to the celebrated Waterfall Beach where Z Force was based during WW2. A water taxi then takes us to America Bay where we climb a hill to the return track to the road past a lovely swimming hole. This is a short but very scenic walk on a route not often walked. |Hornsby to Mt Kuring-gai. This section of the Great North Walk starts from Hornsby Train Station and winds down along the Blue Gum Walk into Fishponds and along Berowra Creek. The walk passes through the Tunks Ridge Reserve and then into Galston Gorge. From here the walk keeps following the Berowra Creek through the Crosslands campsite to Calna Creek, and then up to Mt Kuring-gai. Steep and slippery sections. A few creek crossings. Need to watch out for some of the unsteady stepping stones at Galston Gorge

|This is a circuit walk along Old Argyle Road into Penrose State Forest. Circle back through the forest crossing the upper reaches of Paddys River to return to Old Argyle Road. Rough track, creek crossings, need sandals or alternative footwear.

Some water views, streets and lots of reserve walking, some well-formed bush tracks. Lots of uneven surfaces, ups and downs, steps. Could be some muddy and/or slippery sections if recent rain. |(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Namadgi National Park with its wonderful array of habitats is a great place to explore! Fantastic boulder ridges, alpine frost hollows and bountiful swamps are just a few worth seeing on its expansive system of tracks. This is a car based camp, costing $10 a person per night at the comfortable Honeysuckle Creek Campsite, only a short drive from the nations capitol. I expect to also visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve during our stay as lots of wildlife worth spotting within its confines. Optional rock scrambling.

|The walk follows Winters Fire Trail to Beasleys Lookout giving views towards Sydney looking down on the M5 Motorway. From the top an indistinct track leads down to the Nattai River. After crossing the river a well formed track leads to Lake Alexandra. Rough track, slippery rocks, river crossing steep descent.
