|Save Kosci walk: day 10. Option for a side-trip ‘real bushwalk’ to Sandy Creek Falls, where the falls drop from an ampitheatre of cascades and hanging gardens into rainforest. Plus a delightful section of flattish sandstone creek with unusual potholes. A 6km circuit including some scrub, shallow wading and straightforward scrambling. A moderate pace. |(NEW!!!) Nothing says summer in Sydney like a street of jacaranda trees in full bloom. As if Sydney wasn’t already the prettiest city in Australia, we find ourselves living in nothing short of a magical, lavender coloured, wonderland. Let's start with the Royal Botanical Garden, cross the Harbour bridge, and explore the streets of suburbs like lavender bay and Wollstonecraft.

|(Date Changed) Medium pace walk, 377m ascent, 389m descent, approx. 5 hours. This walk passes by Cape Solander Lookout and Whale Observation Platform, Cape Bailey Lighthouse, Boat Harbour Beach and Rock Platform, Wanda and Elourea Beaches, finishing at Cronulla Beach. Opportunity for a swim. Coffee at the end of the walk. Bring morning/afternoon tea and picnic lunch.

|(NEW!!!) Commence with a short steep section from the station followed with a long gradual descent on various tracks to cross the Hacking River. Ascend to Garawarra Farm and follow Cliff Track visiting various lookouts to Lilyvale Track. Descend and follow rarely walked Karingal and Red Cedar Tracks to cross Hacking River again. Ascend and follow fire trails and tracks back to the station. Medium pace.

|Meet at 9am at Eugowra Rest Area. Easy, 5 kilometres. Walkers are reminded to bring along enough food and water for the entire day as well as suitable clothing, footwear, hat and sunscreen. |From Tallong via Long Point to overnight camp at the Shoalhaven River. Ascend Mt Ayers track and Green Track to Bungonia SRA.

|16 Nov, Fri||Capertee Creek Gorge and Mount Dawson|
|Park at GR 420 250 and walk up Capertee Gorge all the way to the non-negotiable waterfall at GR 387 242, checking out an interesting short canyon and tunnel just before that point. Now, walk back a few hundred metres, climb out on the northern side and walk to Mount Dawson. From there, head east to a pass at GR 393 238 and come back down into the Capertee Creek Gorge. Keep under the cliff line this time, whilst making our way back. The first section is through private property; access has been arranged. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|Bar Point is an isolated riverside settlement on the Hawkesbury River in Popran National Park. The proposed route of the Great River Walk runs through this settlement. The route options have never been fully explored due to the remoteness of the area. So this walk is designed to fill in the gaps in our knowledge and explore the area, particularly a possible link between Bar Point and Big Jim Point. It will be an adventure.

|Follow Clyde River along Deadmans Gulch Road upstream from Yadboro into the Clyde Gorge for a sausage-sizzle lunch and real billy tea near a quiet bend in the river. There is a great swimming hole if it is hot. Return by the same route. Four river crossings. BYO bread and cup.
