A fairly gentle walk in the lower Blue Mountains that includes visiting Lennox Bridge, the oldest stone arch bridge on mainland Australia (1833) and great views over Sydney from Marges and Elizabeth's lookouts. Walking under the highway near the RAAF base we discover a disused railway tunnel and an old tramway. We will follow the tramway to its end and discover why it was built. Then we walk to Lapstone Station to catch the train home. Booking essential giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. A few rough sections of track and some street walking. Creek crossings.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFrom Wattle Ridge Rd car park, we will head off along the Nattai Ridge fire trail. After a few kms, we will leave the fire trail and follow a fence line to a rarely visited track leading down to a creek that we will follow down to some magnificent sandstone cliffs and overhangs for lunch. The track then continues up to join the Rocky Waterholes track where we will duck out to the Rocky Water Holes lookout before returning to the start via fire trails. Rough track, slippery creek crossings and scrambling up loose scree slopes.

The Forest Path continues along the escarpment with great coastal views and passing through various forest ecosystems to Sublime Point. Finishing with a descent to Austimer Station via ladders and a steep trail. Cancelled as Sublime Point Track will be closed from 18 August until Sep 2025. Steep and slipery. Steel ladders. Limit: 15. View

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Date Changed) We follow Nattai Mgt Trail northwards for 6km before heading 5km SW along an old Mgt trail 350m down via Troys Track to Emmetts Flat Ruins on the Nattai River. A short walk up river and then we walk up Starlights Trail & along Nattai Rd back to Wattle Ridge car park. Hazards: Off track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks, creek/river crossings, bites, stings, wet feet, environmental conditions.

Follow Nattai River upstream to Slott Way track. Follow Slott Way track to Needle Lookout. Possible lunch stop. Continue to junction with Ahearn Lookout Track. Time available will decide on including lookout. From track junction continue to Junction with Starlights Trail and then to car parked on Nattai Road. Hazards include river crossings, slippery rocks and hard to follow tracks.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPark the vehicles at around GR 306 175 on the branch road off The Bicentennial National Trail. Follow the Great Dividing Range north to Gordian Knot, visit Stargate Tunnel and then proceed to the escarpment above McLeans Pass. Walk west, enjoying stunning views of the Capertee Valley, then south to spectacular Firebird Rocks. Next, explore the promontory to the south east before making our way down to Baal Bone Creek and then up to Tara Point. Walk back to the vehicles. About 8 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.
