![]() ![]() A fairly gentle walk in the lower Blue Mountains that includes visiting Lennox Bridge, the oldest stone arch bridge on mainland Australia (1833) and great views over Sydney from Marges and Elizabeth's lookouts. Walking under the highway near the RAAF base we discover a disused railway tunnel and an old tramway. We will follow the tramway to its end and discover why it was built. Then we walk to Lapstone Station to catch the train home. Booking essential giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. Hazards: A few rough sections of track and some street walking. Creek crossings. Location: Glenbrook Map: Penrith 90303N Limit:20. T: From: 25 Aug 2025, 9:30AM |
