(Leader Changed) From Tench Reserve we head upstream taking in some magnificent sandstone cliffs. Lunch at Erskine Creek then return. Optional shorter version (16km return) for anyone not wanting to do the full trip is to lunch below The Rock LO and wait for the return of the craft that went to Erskine Creek. Participants to provide their own craft & are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Notes: - New Event. A little longer than we have we have done here in the past. This time we want to trek a little further to Erskine Ck. - Participants can opt to do shorter distance and stop just below The Rock LO. - During school holidays. Deep water. We will visit the Boongala Native Gardens and Rainforest. It only opens once a year. Boongala Native Gardens and Rainforest is an 11 acre property located in Kenthurst, NSW. These extensive gardens have been developed over a number of years by Mal and Jenny Johnston. The property also includes a lush rainforest, which has been maturing for the last 25 years. When you visit Boongala you will discover a wide range of Australian plants, wildflowers and the birdlife they attract.
