(Fully Booked) This is a medium (grade 3) walk along Bargo River via Potholes Track to Diesel Pass and onto See Thru Falls then Mermaids Pool for morning tea. We will then follow the Matilda Track to a series of lookouts. At the third lookout, we will split into 2 groups. The optional harder (grade 4) walk will continue on and down Rosies Pass into and along Tahmoor Gorge and lunch in the gorge then return via Jacks Pass. The easier (grade 3) walk will back track to one of the lookouts for lunch. Rough track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks & creek crossings. Starting from the Berowra Station, walk mainly to Shark Rock Ridge and Want Trig and return the same way. Interesting rock formations and some Indigenous rock carvings. Steep and slippery sections. Some indistinct tracks. Limit: 12. View

From the Little Forest carpark, head towards Rusden Head. A truly unusual overhang (the less agile will need to just peek in from above), stunning views across the valley and back to waterfalls below Porters Creek Dam. BYO refreshments for your preferred beverage and munchies under the trees back at the parking area. View

Leader: Lynne Hewitt We walk from Canterbury Station to Ashbury, then Ashfield, Summer Hills, Petersham Park and end at Lewisham. We celebrate Philip’s birthday today. His birthday was on 10 June and he’s been working very hard leading many walks in his birthday month. A lunch at the White Cockatoo Hotel is warranted. Limit: 15. View

Hosted by Sutherland Shire Environment Centre. Walks will be in the RNP near the headwaters of the Hacking River which drains off the Illawarra escarpment. The infamous Peabody Metropolitan Colliery is located further up Camp Gully Creek. The mine has illegally discharged coal waste material into these waterways on numerous occasions in recent years. If you’re curious about the ongoing impacts on the ecosystem downstream, this is a good opportunity to see the evidence for yourself. Registration essential. Creek crossings. Wet feet. The Temple of Doom area has a lot to offer the adventurous bushwalker, including some spectacular pagoda clusters, sone stunning views over the Upper Wolgan river and much more.If time allows, I'd like to visit Wolgan Falls towards the end of the walk. Find out for yourself why this unique area, currently under threat, must be better protected. Park the vehicles at Airly Gap. Walk south west following the alignment of the former tramway to the transfer station site and the double track skip haulage to the high level tunnel through the south west end of Mount Airly. Climb the incredible pagoda spur to the top of the south west corner of Mount Airly, then traverse eastwards on the top/southern edge of the mountain, full of spectacular cliffs, overhangs and caves. Head north to descend into a rainforest tributary of Gap Creek. Scrambling and exposure. About 8 km. Location: Mugii Murum-ban SCA Map: Glen Alice 89314N View

Park at Tabourie Beach, follow the lakeside track and River Road before crossing the highway into Termeil State Forest. Stroll along forest tracks and Lemon Tree Creek Road to rejoin the highway.
