Travel to Woy Woy by train and then bus to the start of the walk at Umina Beach. Occasional uneven ground.

Last time I did this walk the ocean was wild so I'm hoping for better conditions this time!

Visit the Arboretum and, if time allows, head up to Green Point, before returning to Ocean Beach. Beach walking, bush tracks. Sand walking, creek crossings, falling rocks, cliffs, slippery if wet.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longLimited numbers. The walk starts at Bowen Hill. From here, walk north on the ridge until about GR 716 017. Descend to the north east into Bowen Hill Creek, then traverse above the creek and/or walk in the creek upstream, exploring for caves and other features. Continue south as far as the time and energy allows, then climb back on the ridge and walk to the start. Partly exploratory. About 10 km. Scrambling and exposure.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.(Fully Booked) Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley.  The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot.  On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views. Hazards: Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.
