 (NEW!!!) This is a very beautiful walk that descends quickly to Cowan Creek, where we see some remains from past residents as we meander around the bays. Then we have a quick rise to follow a ridge to Mt Ku-ring-gai from where we catch the train home. Book, giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. The track can be muddy and slippery in places and there are many trip hazards. There are some moderately difficult creek crossings too. (NEW!!!) This is a medium (grade 3) walk along Bargo River via Potholes Track to Diesel Pass and onto See Thru Falls then Mermaids Pool for morning tea.
We will then follow the Matilda Track to a series of lookouts. At the third lookout, we will split into 2 groups. The optional harder (grade 4) walk will continue on and down Rosies Pass into and along Tahmoor Gorge and lunch in the gorge then return via Jacks Pass. The easier (grade 3) walk will back track to one of the lookouts for lunch. Rough track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks & creek crossings. We will be teaming up with Milton Rural Landcare, Treading Lightly, Shoalhaven Landcare and the NSW Threatened Species Program. We will plant Casuarina littorals, the preferred food tree of the Glossy Black Cockatoo. After the hard work there will be time to catch up with others and be treated to refreshments.

(NEW!!!) The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP. From the locked gate continue on the Fire Trail along the ridge. The first section is a fairly steep fire trail but flattens out and then follows along a track. There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankey's Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill. If conditions are suitable we push through on a less defined track to Yarrunga Trig for great views down to the jnct of Yarrunga Creek & Kangaroo R. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebecca's View over Sandy's Creek on the other side of the ridge. Rough track and unfenced cliffs. Off track for extension to the trig.  (NEW!!!) Meet at Gosford Station. Travel in cars to the start of the walk at the junction of a track off Old Pacific Highway. Walk along fire trails and tracks to an Indigenous rock art platform, an old quarry and then off track to the Mega Cave, an enormous cave. Walk back to the cars and then a short 5 min drive across the highway, park at the picnic area and walk the Pine Creek Loop track to the swing bridge and back, passing Boondi, Illoura, Pines Creek, Broula lookouts and return to the cars. Not likely to be able to walk the full loop as the western side of the loop track is currently closed. Need Cars. Steep, slippery sections and an off-track section.
