  (NEW!!!) This is a very beautiful walk that descends quickly to Cowan Creek, where we see some remains from past residents as we meander around the bays. Then we have a quick rise to follow a ridge to Mt Ku-ring-gai from where we catch the train home. Book, giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. Hazards: The track can be muddy and slippery in places and there are many trip hazards. There are some moderately difficult creek crossings too. Berowra is served by both intercity and suburban trains. It is suggested that you catch the 8:50am Newcastle train from Central or the 8:59am Sydney train from Gosford.
