This is definitely one of my favourite walks in the Mugii Murum-Ban SCA as it shows off some of the most spectacular country in this fabulous location including an eagles eye view into the Valley of the Dinosaurs along with more pagodas than you can point a boot at!We will visit the Ultimate slot on the way back as it is only a short sidetrip! Once we leave the firetrail it is all offtrack walking along Treasure chest ridge but it is not terribly difficult. I've put the walk length at 6 kms but that is only if we are able to drive most of the way up the access road. Walk the Mt. Kembla Summit and Ring Track. Tracks through eucalypt- and rain- forest with extensive views of the Illawarra coastline. Some points of historic interest. There is a short section of a quiet road. Optional  extra easy walk on the Miners Memorial Pathway. Possible leeches. Location: Illawarra Escarpment Limit: 16. View

Starting from Errol Bond Reserve, Cudmirrah (opposite Cuddy Café) over the dunes to Cudmirrah Beach and Sussex Inlet Surf Club. We then descend to the rocks and follow The Inlet to morning tea. We can climb up a vegetated dune for views then Cater Island for lunch, returning via Swan Lake. Afternoon tea at the cars. Map: Sussex Inlet 1:25,000 View

Walk follows an easy trail with viewing platforms and excellent ocean views. Walk will continue north through melaleuca trees to stairway to Dolphin Cove. Linked to Bournda N.P. this coastal reserve functions as an important wildlife corridor. Threatened species such as the long nosed potoroo and the eastern pygmy possum have been sighted. (NEW!!!) This is a very beautiful walk that descends quickly to Cowan Creek, where we see some remains from past residents as we meander around the bays. Then we have a quick rise to follow a ridge to Mt Ku-ring-gai from where we catch the train home. Book, giving your NPA, mobile and emergency contact numbers, unless I already have them. The track can be muddy and slippery in places and there are many trip hazards. There are some moderately difficult creek crossings too. (NEW!!!) This is a medium (grade 3) walk along Bargo River via Potholes Track to Diesel Pass and onto See Thru Falls then Mermaids Pool for morning tea. We will then follow the Matilda Track to a series of lookouts.   At the third lookout, we will split into 2 groups.  The optional harder (grade 4) walk will continue on and down Rosies Pass into and along Tahmoor Gorge and lunch in the gorge then return via Jacks Pass. The easier (grade 3) walk will back track to one of the lookouts for lunch. Rough track, unfenced edges, slippery rocks & creek crossings. Short car Shuttle to start of the walk at the end of Queen Elizabeth Drive, then walk along Ingar Road, Aeroplane Hill Trail past Aeroplane Hill, a short section on an indistinct track to Bedford Pool, then past Pyramid Falls, Adams Lookout to Hazelbrook Station. Then backtrack to an abandoned (unnamed) fire trail to Rocky Waterhole Track & head down to Rocky Waterhole Creek for lunch. Return via  a shorter route back to beginning of Chasm LO track and then track head. Off track navigation. Steep descent. Unfenced cliffs. One of the classic lower mountains walks is this superb route that descends via the ruggedly beautiful Pisgah Rock and then we rock hop up to the historical Dadder Cave for a look, before experiencing the stunning beauty of the Erskine creek gorge and an easy ascent via Jack Evans track. Come and join us for a morning of planting food trees for the Glossy Black Cockatoo. We will be teaming up with Milton Rural Landcare, Treading Lightly, Shoalhaven Landcare and the NSW Threatened Species Program. We will plant Casuarina littorals, the preferred food tree of the Glossy Black Cockatoo. After the hard work there will be time to catch up with others and be treated to refreshments. Walk up to Martin Pl visiting Lady Martins Bath on the way. After walking along Sassafras Ridge Trail for 3km, we will leave it to look for the kangaroo carving. The kangaroo ridge is followed down to Sassafras Creek. We will exit up to Sassafras Gully Rd. Creek crossings. Some off track. Some vague track. Some steep sections. (NEW!!!) The walk begins at Meryla Pass in Morton NP.  From the locked gate continue on the Fire Trail along the ridge.  The first section is a fairly steep fire trail but flattens out and then follows along a track. There are several viewpoints which look towards Mt Carrialoo, Crankey's Creek and Lake Yarrunga until reaching the end of the track overlooking Wombat Hill.  If conditions are suitable we push through on a less defined track to Yarrunga Trig for great views down to the jnct of Yarrunga Creek & Kangaroo R. On the return there is an optional trail leading to Rebecca's View over Sandy's Creek on the other side of the ridge. Rough track and unfenced cliffs. Off track for extension to the trig. (NEW!!!) Meet at Gosford Station. Travel in cars to the start of the walk at the junction of a track off Old Pacific Highway. Walk along fire trails and tracks to an Indigenous rock art platform, an old quarry and then off track to the Mega Cave, an enormous cave. Walk back to the cars and then a short 5 min drive across the highway, park at the picnic area and walk the Pine Creek Loop track to the swing bridge and back, passing Boondi, Illoura, Pines Creek, Broula lookouts and return to the cars. Not likely to be able to walk the full loop as the western side of the loop track is currently closed. Need Cars. Steep, slippery sections and an off-track section.
