Drive to approximately GR 468 058 on the Deep Pass Trail. Head down a spur and visit Howling Arch, an amazing natural feature. Enter Dingo Creek and progress downstream for about 1.3km, visiting the scenic Pool of Diana on the way, continue underneath high cliffs to GR 476 048, the start of a north, north west trending ravine. Follow the ravine up, visiting the spectacular Pool of Aphrodite along the way, to eventually reconnect with the trail and the vehicles. About 6km. All off-track, some rock scrambling and exposure. The Tahmoor Gorge circuit follows the very scenic Bargo River and includes the extremely beautiful Mermaid pools and a myriad of cascades and lesser waterfalls along the way. There is a high cliff line track too and we will follow both on this circuit. A walk not to missed especially as the spring flowers should be out in profusion. Rock hopping and some scrambling. This is a historic walk http://heritagedrive.com.au/project/history-walk-faulconbridge-steam-saw-mill-site/. We walk from Linden to Faulconbridge. Visit an Aboriginal site and the historic sawmill, and a few rocky vantage points, which offered spectacular views of the valley. The track to the creek is steep and involves some rock scrambling but it is adorned with wildflowers of various colours, overhangs and caves. Unfortunately this walk involves 4 km of street walking. Creek crossings, steep and slippery sections. Steep and slipppery sections. 5 creek crossings, narrow, rocky and wet paths. Long sleeve shirts and trousers recommended. Gortex boots an advantage. Starting at Pioneer Park, Malabar, this walk follows the coast south from Malabar Beach to the entrance of Botany Bay at La Perouse. It passes spectacular cliffs, headlands and beaches typical of Sydney’s ocean coastline as well as golf courses and historical sites. Park one car at GR 701 951 and another one at GR 709 954 on D’Arcy Trail. From the second car, descend a south east trending spur to a lookout point at the end, then continue down to a gully to the south. Walk up the gully, then make our way to a tributary, visiting waterfalls and caves along the way. Descend towards Tootie Creek and enter its tributary at GR 713 944. No abseils but plenty of rock hopping and scrambling. A few short swims, so you need to be a competent swimmer.
Meet at Hat Hill car park on Hat Hill Road and drive some cars to the track in Godson Ave. Follow the track down to Hat Hill Creek. Put on wetsuits. Continue downstream to where Hat Hill Creek plunges into the Grose. Retrace upstream to the exit point. Change into dry clothes for the walk out. If we have time, we will visit the Aboriginal engravings and grinding grooves near the car park. Drive to the start of the walk to collect vehicles.
Helmets are mandatory. Bring dry bags. Wetsuit or thermals depending on how you handle cold water. We will be in and out of the creek most of the day. About 8 km.

Katoomba falls circuit via Furber’s Stairs, Scenic Walkway, Federal Pass, Giant’s Stairs and Three Sisters. Covering parts of classic Blue Mountains walking tracks; Federal Pass, Three Sisters Track and Prince Henry Cliff Walk. This walk starts at Katoomba Falls and descends via Furber's Stairs to join Federal Pass Track. Walking a circuit of the Scenic Railway boardwalk to look for the resident lyrebirds before proceeding along Federal Pass to the junction with Dardanelles Pass and the base of the Giant Stairway.
Continuing up to the Three Sisters (Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo) via the stairs, then enjoy the views as we return to Katoomba Falls via the clifftop walk. Suitable for beginner walker looking to challenge themselves on the Giant Stairway (998 steps). Map: Katoomba 89301S Limit: 15. View |

This is a short summer walk to explore hidden secret gardens. We walk from Lindfield Station and cover part of the Two Creeks Track to The Seven Australians Park and Swain Gardens. Or what is often referred to as Sydney’s Secret Garden. We’ve seen a LOT of gardens in our day. But none even compare to this extravagant, leafy green wilderness, spanning over three hectares. If we had to guess how Alice felt when she fell down the rabbit hole, we’d say that it’s is a pretty similar experience as you walk down the long driveway into what can only be described as a Wonderland. Walk 1: Park at GR 722 965 on D’Arcy Trail and descend south west into a gully. Visit Skull Rock and walk up a tributary gully for a few hundred metres, then back down to another creek at GR 722 962. Continue down the creek, then turn west up the bigger gully. Ascend back to the trail.
Walk 2: Park at GR 737 996 on D’Arcy Trail and descend west into a gully; follow it for about 800 m, then walk up the creek to the south. Visit Lace Wall, Alabaster Cave, then Striped Wall, before reconnecting with the vehicles. Partly exploratory. About 6 km (both walks). Scrambling and exposure.
