This walk is co-led by Geoffrey Lee and Esther Chow. No need to contact but email rsvp is appreciated. This is a magnificent walk focusing on the harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges. Part 3 starts from Huntleys Point Wharf and finishes at Balmain East Wharf. Bring water, snacks and lunch. Some slippery sections.

Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wild flowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

Medium, 6 kilometres. Leader: Martin Bell (TBC) or Peter Cannon. Walkers are reminded to bring along enough food and water for the entire day as well as suitable clothing, footwear, hat and sunscreen. A pair of good binoculars and a fold up chair is recommended. Then two wonderful days to chill out at the best bush campsite in the Blue Mountains with nice side trips. The final day is a walk back up the hill to the cars (sigh!). A "resort" but still a solid full pack walk to get there and back. Mostly off-track walking.
