The intended route for the Great River Walk goes through Bar Point, an isolated settlement on the Hawkesbury River. Some route options have never been surveyed. This walk is intended to explore the unknown links to see if they actually exist. The notional route is Mt White to Marlow Lookout to Big Jim Point, then along the shoreline to Bar Point.
