Limited numbers. The walk starts at Bowen Hill. From here, walk north on the ridge until about GR 716 017. Descend to the north east into Bowen Hill Creek, then traverse above the creek and/or walk in the creek upstream, exploring for caves and other features. Continue south as far as the time and energy allows, then climb back on the ridge and walk to the start. Partly exploratory. About 10 km. Scrambling and exposure. (Fully Booked) Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout, a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views.

Day 1-Walk in and establish camp.
Day 2-Climb Jagungal with daypacks only. (Luxury).
Day 3-Walk back to cars at Round Mt. FT gate.

An exploratory walk from end of Kent St fire trail down to creek and following down stream. Attempt to find exit to Blue Mountain trail from creek (steep section). Return via existing tracks to start at North Lawson Park.
The Kent St fire trail will be followed to its end and then a way found to the creek if it ends before then. At the creek either a way down stream will be found or the shorter creek passage towards Empire Pass track will be used. This is an exploratory walk to find condition of the creek and an exit from it to the Blue Mountains track. Worst case is a return back to Kent St fire trail.

The Harbour to Hawkesbury track (59km) is a well-marked route from Manly to Berowra Waters, traversing Garigal, Ku-ring-gai Chase and Berowra Valley National Parks through a variety of terrain. Section 4 is Berowra to Cowan. This point-to-point trail starts from Berowra Station.Generally considered a challenging route. This trail is great for birding, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Heathcote Circuit via Kangaroo Creek: Heathcote - Karloo Pool - Kangaroo Creek – Engadine track – Bottle Bush Track – Heathcote.
Co-Leader Jenny Fisher. We will enjoy this lovely summer walk along Kangaroo Creek's rock pools, with ample time for photos & an opportunity for a swim. There is approx. 4 kms of off-track walking with some scrambling, rock hopping, creek crossings & rock platform walking, more challenging than previously due to recent flood water damage. This is a remembrance walk, one of the Jim series. One big climb after lunch, otherwise this is a beautiful walk. Limited numbers.
